VIDEO | Doi membri ai clanului Cârpaci din Timișoara, arestați la cererea procurorilor din Germania / Sunt acuzați că au ținut sclav un bărbat și l-au obligat să doneze un rinichi
Two members of the Cârpaci crime group were arrested in Romania under European arrest warrants issued by German authorities for human trafficking and organ trafficking. They allegedly held a man in conditions akin to slavery, forcing him to donate a kidney. The victim was isolated, had his documents confiscated, and was threatened with harm to his family if he did not comply. The investigation, led by the Munich Prosecutor's Office, revealed that the transplant occurred in Germany, with the victim falsely claiming to be a relative of one suspect. Previous searches in March 2026 did not locate the suspects.
