The inquiry was prompted by a Mediaflux report showing images of bags and gifts being loaded into Bratu's official vehicle. Prosecutors are examining the circumstances surrounding these gifts and have requested information from the Labor Inspection regarding the individuals involved. Bratu, who has a history of leading the Labor Inspection, is currently in a temporary position after previously being removed from office due to a scandal. The investigation is ongoing, and the involved parties have denied any wrongdoing, claiming the items were institutional property.
