He emphasized that construction and bulky waste should not be left near collection bins, as they can be picked up for free by sanitation services. Negoiță reiterated that such behavior is unacceptable and highlighted the importance of community reporting in maintaining cleanliness. The sector has seen an increase in littering since the removal of waste bins in November 2025. To aid residents, a 'Selective Collection Guide' was launched, outlining proper waste sorting practices to protect the environment. Violations can result in fines ranging from 1,000 to 3,000 lei for individuals.
