He acknowledged the negative impression tourists have due to the area's neglect. Plans for revitalization will begin in spring, addressing the dry green spaces and deteriorated pathways. Originally named "Boulevard of Socialism Victory," this area was part of Ceaușescu's grand civic project, which led to the demolition of the historic Uranus neighborhood, displacing thousands. The boulevard was designed to connect the Palace of the Parliament with state institutions, featuring impressive fountains to enhance its grandeur.
