Daniel Băluță, the mayor of Sector 4, showcased the interior of the eccentric pillars at the Apărătorii Patriei Passage, currently under construction. He shared images from the site, inviting residents to a virtual tour. The construction, which began in March 2025, is a collaboration between several construction firms and is valued at 20 million euros. The passage will enhance traffic flow in the Berceni area, featuring a total length of 860 meters with two lanes in each direction. Additionally, the project includes a public transport intermodal hub with tram stations connected to the metro station.
