CFR SA has reported significant progress in the modernization of Costinești Tabără and Neptun train stations, with completion rates of 90% and 98% respectively. The upgrades aim to enhance passenger facilities, including new buildings, improved access for individuals with reduced mobility, and safety measures such as surveillance systems. The total investment for these projects amounts to 30.63 million lei, funded through non-reimbursable sources and the state budget. Contracts for the renovations were signed in May 2024, with a planned implementation period of 12 months.
