The Comarnic Beltway project is nearing completion, with asphalt being laid, and is expected to be finished by August. The project aims to alleviate traffic on DN1, one of Romania's busiest roads. Recent adjustments to the timeline have been made, with the initial completion date pushed from June to August due to the need to coordinate with the Breaza bridge project. The investment has increased significantly, now totaling approximately 470 million lei, due to various factors including land subsidence and utility relocations. Once operational, the beltway will help reduce congestion in the area.
