The Comarnic Bypass has opened, providing an alternative route for traffic on DN1, particularly easing congestion in Comarnic. The 5.9 km road includes four bridges and two short-term parking areas, funded by a 470 million lei investment. This project, a collaboration between CNAIR and Prahova County Council, aims to improve local traffic conditions and was initiated in December 2022. The construction contract was awarded in May 2023 to a consortium led by Frasinul SRL.
