The construction of the Azuga – Bușteni bypass is progressing, with the recent installation of beams for Bridge No. 5. This project aims to alleviate traffic congestion in the area. The Ministry of Transport has proposed expropriating 169 private properties for additional road access, with estimated compensation of 23.1 million lei. The bypass will span 9.447 kilometers and is expected to be completed by December 2027. It includes multiple structures and hydrotechnical works, with a total investment of 843.9 million lei. Other projects are also underway to improve traffic flow in the Prahova Valley.
