Lot 3 A0 Nord remains unfinished, delaying the northern semicircle of Bucharest's highway. The critical point is the DN3 overpass, which must be completed for traffic to open. Despite pressure from Romanian officials, construction has been slow, with only 96% completion. The initial deadline was November 2025, now extended to February 2026, but completion is still uncertain. The delays are mainly due to insufficient mobilization by the Chinese contractor, leading to low work speeds and public criticism. Once finished, Lot 3 will connect the north with the east, linking A3 to DN2 and DN3, finally completing the highway connection to A2 towards Constanța.
