The old structure has been demolished by 95%, and over 65% of the new slab is completed. If funding remains steady, the project could finish 4-6 months ahead of schedule, by late 2026 or spring 2027. Most funding comes from the state budget through the 'Anghel Saligny' program, with the local budget covering 20%. Traffic restrictions are in place, particularly around the fountains in Unirii Square, with specific detours established. Normal traffic continues on Halelor Street, which is clear of construction.
