Bucharest Airports shared a video of the project on Facebook, which began in spring and is expected to last six months. The National Company Bucharest Airports (CNAB) acknowledges the inconvenience but emphasizes the improvements for a safer and more modern airport. A new parking facility with 1,019 spaces will open this fall, and plans for two additional projects are underway. Eight bids have been submitted for the construction of a "Long Term" parking area with 795 spaces, estimated to cost 12 million euros and take up to two years to complete.
