The Kreiner case continues at the Alba Iulia Court of Appeal, where defendants seek a change in legal classification. Two pieces of evidence proposed by their lawyers were rejected. Cosmin Zuleam, Laurențiu Ghiță, and Minae Cristian are appealing their sentences for a robbery that resulted in the death of businessman Adrian Kreiner. The defendants argue they only intended to rob Kreiner but did not intend to kill him. The court dismissed the proposed evidence, stating it was outside the scope of the case. The defendants are also requesting a reclassification of their charges from qualified murder to robbery resulting in death. The next hearing is scheduled for November 9, when the judges will decide on the legal classification requests.
