Metrorex announced that the TBM "Sfânta Ana" has broken through the wall of the future Piața Montreal metro station on the M6 line, which will connect to Bucharest's airports. The tunnel excavation has reached nearly 3 km, with significant progress reported at various stations along the route. The project aims to enhance urban mobility in Bucharest by providing a modern link to Henri Coandă International Airport. The overall completion of the structural work is at 72%, with individual stations showing varying levels of progress in excavation and concrete pouring. Metrorex's Director General expressed satisfaction with the project's pace.
