The completion of section 4 of the Sibiu-Pitești highway will allow traffic on nearly half of the 122 km route. The head of CNAIR, Cristian Pistol, announced that the works are nearing 95% completion, with the possibility of opening this section by the end of the year. However, traffic issues persist on the Olt Valley due to ongoing construction. The project includes various infrastructure improvements and is expected to enhance connectivity between Bucharest and Sibiu. Despite progress, challenges remain on the more difficult segments of the highway, which are still under construction.
