Mayor Daniel Băluță announced the completion of significant groundwork, including the installation of crown beams essential for the structure's stability. These beams will distribute the weight of the new slab and ensure safety. The project, which began in June last year, is divided into four major phases, with ongoing traffic restrictions to facilitate construction. The final phase is set for 2026-2027, involving further work on the Unirii Passage and tram lines.
