A man was arrested for illegally detaining and assaulting his partner, who managed to escape and report the incident to the police. The victim was physically abused with an axe and threatened with death. Following her report, the police issued a temporary protection order and the man was placed in preventive detention for 30 days. Investigations are ongoing regarding domestic violence and illegal deprivation of liberty.
