Construction has officially started on the 1D Joseni-Ditrău section of the A8 Unirii Highway, with a completion deadline of two years. The project includes 14.4 kilometers of highway, 18 bridges, and wildlife crossings. CNIR will provide live updates and drone footage to monitor progress. The contract, valued at approximately 911 million lei, is awarded to the Danlin XXL consortium, marking their first major infrastructure project. This section is part of a larger investment of around 4 billion euros for over 110 kilometers of highway connecting Moldova and Transylvania.
