Construction of the 1D Joseni - Ditrău section of the A8 highway is progressing well, with over 300 workers and 245 machines involved. The project includes various activities such as ground consolidation, earthworks, and the construction of bridges and passages. The 14.4 km route will feature 18 bridges, passages, and viaducts, along with three wildlife crossings and a traffic node at Joseni. This strategic highway aims to connect Moldova with Transylvania and enhance economic development. The project is expected to open new opportunities for local communities and businesses, improving accessibility to major economic centers.
