The construction of the 1D Joseni-Ditrău section of the A8 highway has begun pilot tests to ensure foundation integrity and load capacity. These tests are crucial for validating geotechnical assumptions and execution quality. Concurrently, preparatory works are ongoing, including the creation of reinforcement cages and prefabricated beams. The project, valued at 911 million lei, marks a historic moment as it is the first highway section in Harghita County. The contract was awarded to a Romanian-Bulgarian consortium, with Danlin being the first Romanian company to undertake such a project. The A8 highway aims to enhance connectivity between Moldova and Transylvania.
