The construction of the Nădășelu–Zimbor section of the Transylvania Highway is nearing completion, reaching 99.2% progress. The opening depends on the completion of two viaducts, currently at 86%. Once finished, drivers will have a continuous 155 km stretch of highway from Poarta Sălajului to Târgu Mureș. The project, valued at 1.625 billion lei, has faced delays due to geotechnical issues. The highway aims to enhance connectivity between Transylvania and western Romania, reducing travel times significantly.
