The construction progress of the mega-viaducts on the Transylvania Highway has reached 86%, according to Cristian Pistol, director of CNAIR. Work on the Topa Mică viaduct is advancing with the completion of the superstructure and the start of waterproofing. At the Nădășelu viaduct, beam installation is complete, and work on the superstructure is ongoing. A total of 320 workers and 176 machines are on-site, with a contract value of 995 million lei funded by the Transport Program 2021-2027. Once completed, the highway will facilitate continuous traffic over 155 km, enhancing regional and international transport in northwest Romania.
