The Turkish construction consortium Makyol - Ozaltin is expected to complete the 41 km section by 2031. Currently, preparatory works are underway, with hopes for partial openings before the final deadline. The project includes the Meseș Tunnel and numerous bridges and viaducts, with a total contract value of 6.62 billion lei. The construction timeline is set for 78 months, including 18 months for design and 60 months for execution.
