The reception commission for the Zimbor-Poarta Sălajului section of the Transylvania Highway (A3) will begin its work on August 10. The construction company UMB is finalizing the installation of safety barriers and other works. After the opening, traffic will be accessible via the Zimbor and Românași interchanges. The project is funded through the Transport Program 2021-2027. The opening of this section is part of a larger plan to enhance road connectivity in Romania, with 250 kilometers of highway expected to be inaugurated this year.
