The Chiribiș-Biharia section of the A3 Transylvania Highway is 65% complete, ahead of schedule, with hopes for early opening by the end of 2026. The project employs around 700 workers and utilizes over 500 machines. Despite challenges in material supply, the contractor is optimistic about maintaining the current pace. The project is funded by European funds, with a total contract value of 785 million lei. The completion is expected by May 2027, but favorable conditions may allow for an earlier opening.
