VIDEO Autostrada Sibiu-Pitești: asfaltări pe segmentul Cornetu-Tigveni. Stadiul lucrărilor a ajuns la 18%

Construction on the Cornetu-Tigveni section of the Sibiu-Pitești Highway has reached 18% completion, with initial asphalt layers being laid on a 400-meter test stretch. The project is currently active on about 30% of the site, pending environmental agreement finalization. The Webuild-Tancrad consortium is responsible for the work, which includes complex structures like the Poiana Tunnel. The total contract value is over 5.3 billion lei, and the section aims to connect Transylvania with southern Romania. Progress is contingent on environmental approvals and the opening of additional work fronts.
