Recent images from the construction sites of sections 3 and 4 of the Sibiu-Făgăraș A13 highway were shared by CNAIR's head, Cristian Pistol. Section 3, measuring 17.61 km, is 44% complete, with 470 workers and 117 machines currently on site. Key activities include the construction of bridges and drainage systems. Section 4, spanning 16.26 km, is 27% complete, with 297 workers and 251 machines engaged in earthworks and drainage systems. The total value of contracts for both sections is 2.96 billion lei, funded through the Transport Program 2021-2027. The Turkish contractor Makyol is expected to complete the entire 68 km highway by 2028, which is crucial for traffic decongestion in the region.
