The A7 highway has reached Bacău, with 47.10 kilometers opened between Adjud and Bacău, allowing nearly complete high-speed travel from Bucharest to Bacău. This new section connects to the existing 194.52 kilometers of highway, totaling 241.62 kilometers between Ploiești and Bacău. The journey can now be completed in under three hours, avoiding local traffic. The project, constructed by UMB, is part of Romania's infrastructure investments aimed at economic growth. Future plans include extending the highway to Pașcani and further to Suceava and the northern border.
