The Secretary of State for Transport, Irinel Ionel Scrioșteanu, showcased images of the A0 North Lot 3 of the Bucharest Highway, which is expected to open by the end of October. This section, approximately 8 km long, is the only highway segment in Romania constructed by a Chinese company. The project is currently 91.5% complete, with ongoing efforts to expedite its completion. The construction is funded by non-reimbursable European funds, and the contract was signed in April 2023, with a total value of nearly 398 million lei.
