Turkish contractor Makyol is making progress on the A13 Sibiu-Făgăraș highway, employing over 800 workers on the first two sections. The first section is 17.19% complete, while the second is about 40% finished. The total value of contracts for these sections is 3.43 billion lei, funded through the 2021-2027 Transport Program. The highway aims to provide a modern connection between Sibiu and Brașov, with completion expected by 2028.
