Turkish contractor Makyol has surpassed 50% completion on section 3 of the A13 Sibiu - Făgăraș highway, with significant progress reported. Section 3, measuring 17.61 km, is currently at 51.09% completion, employing 473 workers and 128 machines. Work includes earthworks, road structure, and drainage systems. Notably, three complex arch bridges are under construction, with varying completion rates. Section 4, spanning 16.27 km, is at 36.26% completion, with 333 workers and 289 machines engaged. The total contract value for both sections is 2.96 billion lei, funded through the Transport Program 2021-2027. Makyol is expected to complete the entire 68 km highway by 2028.
