Construction on the A13 Sibiu–Făgăraș highway has surpassed 50% completion for the Avrig–Arpașu section, while the Boița–Avrig section is at 23.54%. Nearly 1,100 workers and over 560 machines are currently active on these sites. The highway, spanning approximately 68 kilometers, is divided into four sections, with completion expected by 2028. The Turkish contractor Makyol is responsible for the work, which includes complex road junctions and multiple bridges. The project is funded through the Transport Program 2021–2027, with significant progress noted since earlier this year.
