The Pro Infrastructure Association stated that the A0 Nord highway section between Buftea and Corbeanca could technically be completed by the end of September. However, bureaucratic issues hinder progress, primarily due to the lack of approval from CNAIR's leadership. The construction company Retter has only a few tasks left, such as applying the wear layer and installing safety barriers, which could allow for partial opening within 30 days. Despite this, officials seem uninterested in facilitating the process. The association criticized the slow bureaucratic response, emphasizing the need for timely approvals to meet the project deadlines. The overall completion of the entire 17.5 km stretch is still targeted for December 2026, but the pace of work must increase to achieve this goal.
