Despite facing challenges, including two punctures that cost him time, he only needed a top-five finish to clinch the title. The Rally of Vâlcea was won by Giovanni Trentin, but his participation did not affect the national championship standings. Tempestini's consistent performance throughout the season, including three victories, solidified his dominance in Romanian rallying since his first title in 2015. He expressed gratitude to his team for their support during the season.
