VIDEO A fost salvat un chiparos de aproape 100 de ani, din Parcul Herăstrău / ”A fost folosit sistemul Cobra, o soluţie neinvazivă de susţinere a arborilor”

A nearly 100-year-old cypress tree in Herăstrău Park was saved through an intervention by ADP Bucharest, as announced by the mayor. Experts Andreea Răducu and Teodor Frolu provided consultancy for the operation. The largest cypress, located on the Island of Roses, was at risk due to soil erosion. The rescue involved nine people and two machines, taking eight hours to complete. A non-invasive support system called Cobra was used, along with five anchors to secure both the large cypress and another nearby tree. This intervention marked a first in the technical solution applied.
