Horatiu Cosma, Secretary of State for Transport, reported that construction on Lot 1 of the A0 Nord highway is progressing well, reaching nearly 70% completion. He visited the site between Corbeanca and Bâcu, confirming that asphalt has been laid on the first 8.5 km and that adjacent works are also advanced. If the current pace continues, the segment could be completed by the end of August, allowing for traffic continuity. However, a provisional traffic solution needs approval from CNAIR, as the final roundabout is part of a larger project. Cosma believes the second section could be finished earlier than the contractual deadline of 2027.
