Vicențiu Voicu: „Cel mai important este educația. Prin colectarea selectivă putem reduce costurile pentru cetățeni”

Vicențiu Voicu, executive director of ADIGIDI, emphasized the importance of an integrated waste management service for 36 out of 40 localities in Ilfov County. He highlighted that effective waste sorting and public education are crucial for reducing costs. The new system aims to streamline operations and lower expenses for households, with potential savings for families that participate in separate waste collection. Investments in infrastructure, including 500,000 bins and 31 garbage trucks, have been made to support this initiative. Voicu expressed optimism about the future of waste management in Ilfov, stressing the need for citizen involvement and education.
