The Vice Ambassador of Israel in Romania, Erez Golan, addressed a recent attempted terrorist attack on a FlyDubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv. A co-pilot attacked the pilot, endangering the lives of over 170 passengers, mostly Israelis. Golan described the incident as a significant act of terrorism aimed at undermining peace efforts and the Abraham Accords. He praised the bravery of passengers and crew who intervened to prevent a disaster. Golan emphasized that such acts of terrorism will not succeed in disrupting Israel's partnerships with Gulf states and called for global unity against extremism. A rescue flight is en route to Israel to bring the passengers home.
