On September 26, 2026, gasoline prices increased by 8 bani per liter in Bucharest, while diesel prices remained stable. Gasoline now ranges from 9.99 to 10.13 lei per liter, and diesel from 10.91 to 10.99 lei. Nationally, the lowest gasoline price is 9.87 lei, unchanged from the previous day, while the minimum diesel price rose to 10.75 lei. The Finance Ministry confirmed that the 25% reduction in diesel excise will continue until the end of September to alleviate price pressures.
