Cluj-Napoca offers the cheapest diesel at 10.09 lei/liter, and Timișoara has the lowest gasoline at 9.48 lei/liter. Despite a temporary 20% reduction in excise duties announced by the Ministry of Finance, prices at the pump have begun to rise again, prompting drivers to be more vigilant about fuel costs.
