A 30-kilometer section of the Transylvania Highway may open by the end of the year, ahead of schedule. Construction between Chiribiș and Biharia is over 65% complete, with over 600 workers and 500 machines on site. The state secretary in the Ministry of Transport, Horațiu Cosma, expressed optimism about the project's progress, highlighting that asphalt has been laid on 15 kilometers and 17 of 18 bridges are finished. If the current pace continues, the highway could open five months early, marking a significant achievement for the new road company. The goal is to have traffic on A3 from Oradea to Cluj by 2026, with only one interruption.
