Vești bune de pe Autostrada Sibiu-Pitești: În septembrie vine ”cârtița” pentru săparea tunelului Poiana. Stadiul lucrărilor

The construction of the Sibiu-Pitești Highway is progressing, with the arrival of the tunnel boring machine for the Poiana tunnel scheduled for September. The National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR) has submitted documentation to revise the environmental agreement for challenging mountain sections, which is crucial for obtaining final construction permits. The Poiana tunnel, the longest in the project at 1.7 km, is set to be excavated using a TBM with a diameter of over 12 meters. Meanwhile, work continues on other tunnels and viaducts along the route.
