Multiple courts are set to rule on the possibility of pensioners recovering health insurance contributions deducted from their pensions. The High Court has confirmed that these cases will be handled by specialized labor and social security courts. Pensioners have initiated lawsuits against the Pension House to reclaim these contributions, which were introduced for pensions exceeding 3,000 lei. Union leader Constantin Crețan stated that authorities will be required to return the deducted amounts, potentially indexed for inflation. The Constitutional Court will also assess the legality of these deductions, with no specific date for their ruling yet.
