Veste bună pentru turiștii și transportatorii români: Bulgaria vrea să termine până în 2028 construcția tronsonului de autostradă Ruse-Biala și a șoselei ocolitoare Biala

The Bulgarian Minister of Regional Development, Ivan Shishkov, inspected the construction of the Ruse-Veliko Tarnovo highway, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2028. The project, funded by 525 million euros from European and national sources, includes the Ruse-Biala section and the Biala bypass. A detailed development plan for the remaining route is anticipated within 30-40 days to expedite construction towards Veliko Tarnovo. The highway aims to enhance connectivity between northern and southern Bulgaria, with three main sections planned. Construction for the Biala-Veliko Tarnovo section is set to begin in March 2025, while a public procurement process for technical project preparation is underway.
