The Bacău Nord Road Node has reopened, allowing full use of the 16-kilometer Bacău Bypass, part of the A7 Highway. This enables drivers to travel entirely on the highway from Bucharest to Bacău Nord via A3 and A7. The last four kilometers of the bypass were reopened after temporary closures for construction connections. This development significantly improves traffic flow, creating a continuous highway link between the capital and northern Bacău. The completion of the bypass is crucial for traffic towards Moldova, as A7 is designed to connect southern Romania with eastern cities. Future works will prevent further traffic restrictions on the bypass when the next A7 section is completed.
