The Comarnic Beltway will officially open to traffic on Thursday, nearly three years after construction began. This nearly 6-kilometer bypass aims to alleviate traffic on DN1 and reduce congestion in the town. The route bypasses Comarnic to the west and connects to DN1 via two roundabout intersections. The project was initiated by the Prahova County Council and funded by the Ministry of Transport through CNAIR, as part of the Operational Transport Program 2021-2027.
