The old terminal of Târgu Mureș International Airport will be fully integrated with the new one through a 1.7 million lei investment. The Mureș County Council has approved a budget adjustment to allocate funds for two significant projects, including the modernization of the old terminal. The aim is to create a unified, modern, and functional complex that enhances passenger comfort and safety. Renovations will include interior upgrades, new flooring, and improved ventilation systems. Additionally, restrooms will be adapted for disabled individuals and mothers with children. A new baggage claim system will also be purchased to reduce wait times.
