VAT România is expanding its Arad factory by adding 800 square meters to meet rising demand in the semiconductor industry and AI infrastructure. The new space will include storage, shipping, and assembly facilities, with completion expected by December 2026. The production capacity is projected to increase by 30% in 2026, with further growth anticipated in 2027. The factory, operational since June 2025, focuses on components for semiconductors and scientific instruments, and all production is aimed at export markets. VAT has been in Romania since 2001 and is one of the group's major operational centers globally.
