A major police operation targeting organized crime groups, including the Hells Angels motorcycle gang, took place across Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, and the Netherlands. Over 100 locations were searched, 14 arrest warrants executed, and assets worth approximately €48.6 million seized. The operation involved more than 1,000 agents and aimed at 71 individuals, including leaders of a money laundering network. Suspects face charges of criminal association, extortion, fraud, and money laundering, among others. The investigation, ongoing for over four years, was prompted by a violent incident in Duisburg in May 2022 involving motorcycle gang members and a criminal clan.
