Over 100 veterinarians have been mobilized in Tulcea County to monitor over 355,000 sheep and goats following confirmed outbreaks of sheep and goat pox. The National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority (ANSVSA) is coordinating an extensive epidemiological control action supported by police and gendarmerie. The operation focuses on clinical evaluations, monitoring animal movements, and intensifying traffic controls to prevent the spread of the disease.
